Carlo nods. So Rowena isn't behind this. That's good. Though, what does that mean about the Candor? He thinks to himself.
"So, does that mean the Candor are trying to do something? Also, how would I have gotten the serum? Could it have been Rax?" Carlo inquires. |

"Alright." He says, checking his watch. It's 4:30 AM. Some of the Dauntless would probably be up by now. Heading out, he passes by a few of the other apartments. Then he comes across Jake in the hallway.
"Jake." He says, stopping him. "I have a question for you. Do you have any way of figuring out who transferred from which faction and would you be willing to share it with me?" Carlo continues. He is worried that Jake will say no. |

Oceana head out around six for the Erudite headquarters and knocked on Rowena's door.

Jake tells Carlo that he doesn't have any records of the Dauntless members' former factions, and even if he did, he wouldn't give them to Carlo. Carlo nods and walks away, slightly disappointed. He decides to just go for a walk until Oceana comes back. She had said she was leaving at six.
"Come in." Rowena says after checking on the screen who was outside her door. "How're you, Oshi?" She asks, clicking out of one of the windows on her main desktop out of the four computers she has in front of her. |

Oceana steps into Rowena's home and sits on her couch. "You remember that weird orange stuff coming out of it?" Oceana asked, making herself at home. "We think we might know who may of caused that. The same faction that stabbed you. All we need to know is if you have records of the transfers for Dauntless."

A file with all of the recent Dauntless transfers' information is up on the screen. "This has details on everything. Former factions, family, aptitude test results. Divergence. Everything that we could find out." |

"You keep records of Divergence?" Oceana asked, a little skeptical. "Never mind." Oceana pulls open each file of the Candor. "What does it say about me?" She asked as she read the file of a random Candor transfer.

"It says you were born factionless. Your mother died when you were 10. No data on siblings, your father, or any other relatives. You joined Erudite at age 10 and transferred to Dauntless at age 16. Not much history from before you joined Erudite. You're not Divergent. You're afraid of spiders, guns..." She goes on and completes the list of the fears that were in Oceana's landscape. "Also, it says something here. You've got a number next to your name and I'm not sure what it means. I don't see it with many of the others. You've got the number 2." |
