More fear. That's what they all knew they were going to be facing today. Luckily, most of them had gotten a good night's sleep. Rosa- well, she was busy. When everyone woke up and got dressed, Carlo noticed the leftover food by his bed, which he assumed was left for him so he ate it before going to go and get ready for the fear tests today. Once he was in the room to wait for the fear simulations, Rosa was called in first.
After a while, Rosa came out shaking. She must have experienced something that actually bothered her. The day before Carlo had left before her so he didn't know how she reacted. Next to be called in for day two was Oceana.

Oceana walked in and got the simulation vaccination ((OOC: hehehe. That rhymed!)) and say in the chair, worried for what might happen.

Oceana was back in the school, in the middle of a random hall way. She was surrounded on all sides in a large circle by every faction.
"Freak!"
"Loser!"
"Go back where you belong, FACTIONLESS!!"
Everyone in the circle began to laugh, even the Amity and the Abnegation. Oceana looked up at the person who made the last remark, and saw Carlo.
Desperately trying to get out of the circle, she rushed everywhere, but their defenses would build against her wherever she tried to break the line.
"Y-you can't hurt me..." Oceana said after a while. "I'm factionless, so? I can't help the way I was born. If any of you try to hurt me, I'll snap your neck."
Despite her bluffing, everyone backed off, and the fear ended.
The fear of everyone finding out and making a joke of her.

Carlo went in and sat in the chair. The serum was injected into his neck once more.
Carlo was there. He was watching his own, 6-year-old brother, die. He was coughing up blood from his illness. Carlo placed his head on Eagle's chest and listened to his breathing and to his heartbeat. In and out. Thump thump. Thump thump. Then, all at once it stopped. Carlo was in tears at first and then he relaxed. No matter how realistic it seemed, he knew it couldn't be happening again. Eagle was already gone, no matter how much Carlo hated to admit it. He calmed himself down and his mind was relieved of the simulation.
Carlo was still a little shaky when he exited the room with his time of 5 minutes. |

Oceana looked around a found an empty closet and opened the door and pulled him in. "What's up?" She asked, folding her arms in the semi-darkness.

"I had to see him die. Again. Eagle- my brother. The fears- I go through the simulations too fast. They're thinking that there's something up with me. Something I'm not telling them, which is true, but I can't. I can't tell anyone." He says. He's crying as he says it. He hugs Oceana, whether or not she'd reject to it he didn't care. Then, he stood there for a while, just hugging her. He was thinking about how cruel he thought it was for the Dauntless to make them go through seeing their worst fears. Then he realized that was part of being brave. He also remembered, one of his fears was being rejected, and if he were to overcome it, it would either be now or through the fear simulation. He kisses Oceana on the forehead. His heart begins beating fast, worried as to how she'd react. Once again the thoughts running through his head were bothering him. Rosa was the one that had done this to him. Kissed him without his permission and he hated her for it. What if Oceana reacted the same way? He was scared out of his mind, but he'd overcome it, rejected or not. "I know what fear I have to face eventually." He said to Oceana. "You." |

"Listen here, okay?" Oceana pulled apart from the hug far enough she can look at him with her hands on his shoulders. "I understand what it's like to fear something from someone. I'm scared I'm going to end up liking you, and end up breaking your heart if I get kicked out. So, you know what, let's promise each other something. We won't date anyone else until the initiation is over. If Rosa kisses you again, it itsnt your fault. This isn't a rejection, okay? This is a promise that if we both get out of this imitation still Dauntless, then we'll go and get some ice cream or something like that, okay?" ((OOC: lots of "*sentence*, okay?"))

Carlo nods. He felt embarrassed. He told Oceana she could go. He was just going to stay in the closet for a while. It seemed strange, but he needed to be alone. ((OOC: Sorry, short post. I promise next one will be better length.)) |

The other initiates are in the cafeteria while Carlo is nowhere to be found. He's not in the closet where Oceana had left him. Ash is sitting and talking with the instructors where as Johnathan is sitting by himself. Normally, he would've been with Max, who got cut, but since then he'd been sitting alone.

Oceana sits at the table where Johnathan is sitting, avoiding conversation with anyone, constantly looking around the room as though Carlo would suddenly appear. She's about to check the pit when Rosa sits down infront of her. ((OOC: rosa's your character, guuurl.)
