As Oceana runs back over with the flag, her team is congratulated with victory. When they head back to the compound, the results for who got cut during stage one will be in.

"Yeah. Must be." Says Carlo with a smile. Rosa glances over at Oceana. When everyone else is cleared out of the room, Rosa comes over to Oceana.
"Hey, you must have impressed Carlo with your high score, huh? Too bad, though. The girls and- a guy- have been all over him lately." She says. She smiles and walks away. |

Carlo sits in the initiates room during dinner. He doesn't feel like eating, until at one point Rax comes in and demands he go to the cafeteria. Carlo does as he says. When Carlo gets out in the cafeteria, he asks Oceana if he can sit next to her. Unfortunately, Rosa follows along. Rosa decides to sit across from Oceana without asking. Rosa smiles like she's a little school girl with a crush on Carlo. Carlo is almost positive she's faking it to make Oceana jealous. Carlo was tired of Rosa and wished she had been cut. Maybe she would be after the mental portion. |

"Actually, I'm rather nervous. I don't really know what I'm going to see. I used to have a lot more fears than I do now, so I have no idea." Says Carlo. Rosa just sits there, not showing that being ignored bothers her.
Rosa was 'showing off' a bit today. Her shirt was low cut and sleeveless. Her shorts were shorter than anyone should be wearing in public. She was wearing noticeable make up and had her hair up in a low ponytail. Honestly, this bothered Carlo. He didn't like when girls tried to show off to make other people jealous or make guys like them. He would like someone for who they are. That's why he liked Oceana.
As their conversation continues, Rosa rolls her eyes. Honestly, it was obvious all she wanted out of this wasn't Carlo, but was to mess with Oceana's head and emotions. |

Carlo nods. He heads back with Oceana and lies down on his own bed. He's restless though. He can't think straight or calm his mind enough to go to sleep.
Darn Rosa. She's ruining everything. I wish she hadn't made it past the first cut. I just want her to go away, so I can show Oceana who I really am and that Rosa can't interfere. Though, I should probably go to sleep. Especially before Rosa gets here so she can't bother me. These thoughts run through his mind and he eventually falls asleep.
Carlo begins to shake and sweat in his sleep. He's scared, but he needs to be Dauntless. |
