Name: Oceana Samantha Fallen
Nickname: "Oshi" (given when people read her name.)
Age: 16 (will go up to 17 after initiation ends)
Faction: Dauntless
Transfer: yes, from Erudite
Divergent: no
Aptitude Test: Oceana woke up in the a cafeteria similar to her own, but she knew it wasn't, because she was in her aptitude test. Set out in front of her was a cheese wedge and a knife. Grabbing the knife she began to practice a knife trick she taught herself from a book.
A deep growl came from somewhere behind her, and quickly turning around she saw a vicious dog in the position to pounce onto her. Shifting her knife to have it ready, Oceana narrowed her eyes at the creature, waiting for it to make the first move.
Jumping onto her, Oceana stabbed it's unprotected underbelly before it pounced upon her. Expecting a bloody mess, Oceana was surprised to see a bus scene when she looked up from her feet, and not the dead carcass of the dog.
A man reading the newspaper looked up at Oceana, but only for a second, as though only to make sure she was there. "Do you know this man?"
"N-no sir," Oceana stuttered, still shaken up from the dog incident.
"You can save me!" He plead, putting down his newspaper to reveal his scarred and mangled face.
"As I said, sir, no, I don't know the man."
Waking up from her test, Oceana closed her eyes and racked her hair through her blonde hair, pushing her black framed glasses up while doing so. The Abnegation woman told her that she got Dauntless, but she really wasn't listening. She couldn't believe that she killed that dog, and lied to that man.
Choosing Ceremony: Standing in the elevator with several other mixed factions, except Abnegation, Oceana felt the pressure building. Shall she choose to stay within the norm, and remain in her faction, or leave for another faction? She could hardly breath from the stress she felt, considering her options.
Abnegation was too selfless. She'd always crave knowledge, and Abnegation viewed that as a bad thing. When helping someone, you don't ask them who they are, just ask if they need more assistance. Amity was too kind. She always hated the people who accept others without a second thought, and Amity are too kind for that. Plus, their system of government requires you to be a team player, something she could never be due to her past. Candor make you reveal your inner most secrets, which also involved her past, something she doesn't even wish to think about. Erudite has her learn about things that she never wished to learn about, something she was thankful for when she was younger, but something she dreads now with her age.
Before she knew it, she was standing above the faction bowls, staring at her bleeding hand, unwilling to choose. Wishing for more time, she felt her hand beginning to move, as though with its own mind.
A sizzle, and a cheer from the Dauntless. Turning around to look at her friend, Rowena Queen, she began to head towards her new faction.
Just another person leaving Rowena's life to a faction beyond her own.
Appearance: Oceana has slightly longer than shoulder-length blonde hair with pink streaks, recently dyed I there from joining Dauntless. Bright blue eyes, they seem to stand out against her pale complexion and slender body. She tends to wear suggestive clothing, but nothing that shows anything. Always in makeup, black high tops, and with a blue bracelet on, she tends to fit in among the crowd in Dauntless. Especially with the scars, running up and down most of her body. She has a tattoo on her right side that reads "factionless".
Personality: Oceana is a secretive person, always lost in her thoughts. Tending to dress suggestively leads to the attention of the Dauntless boys, but she enjoys giving them rejection after rejection. She hardly talks to anyone, and tends to have limited amounts of friends, and even less of them deep and personal.
She works best alone, and so hopes for a job in the control room. She tends to avoid relationships with men, but love their attention. She would not take a job in government, not wishing to see her old friend, Rowena.
History: Oceana was born factionless. When she was ten, she snuck into the Erudite headquarters where a Abnegation transfer was working for the government. Bending the laws a bit, she was permitted by the Abnegation to raise her until she would choose her own faction at sixteen. Oceana changed her name from "Johnson" to "Fallen" once she joined a Erudite, and didn't tell anyone, being the only thing on this that isn't on her file.
She had scars running up and down her body, but thankfully none on her face. She would wear turtle necks and long pants all year long to hide the scars from sight so no one knew of her past. She kept mainly to herself, but was always curious about the factions, because she didn't grow up knowing them as a good part of society, but as something that rejects those who need help.
