As you walk into the tattoo parlor there are people all around, dressed in black. They have tattoos and piercings. You can see a lot of tattoo designs around the room and you go over to pick one. Someone- one of the tattoo artists, asks if you found what you want. You turn around to see them. They are a tall man, dressed in black with his tattooed biceps highly visible.

"I'm ready." Carlo says to the man that had come over to he and Oceana. Carlo had picked out three tattoos. He chose one that said 'Dauntless', one that said 'Brave' and one that was an Eagle. He would get one of the words on each of his arms, and the Eagle on the center of his chest. |

Oceana puts the tattoo pictures back and goes to follow Carlo to see him getting his tattoos. She stands against the wall and watches with a playful smile. "Why an eagle?"

"It means wisdom and power. Also, my brother's name was Eagle. He died when he was six. He wanted to be Dauntless. I guess I'm kind of carrying that out for him, huh?" Says Carlo. He didn't normally talk to people about Eagle, but he felt that he should, since he was asked. |

Oceana looks through the tattoos again real quick and comes back with the alphabet written in cursive. "You nearly done there?"

Oceana stands up when her tattoo is done, having got "factionless" in tiny cursive just above her hip. "Ready to go?"

Carlo nods. He had been curious about why she had factionless tattooed, but he decided not to ask. It was time to go back to the initiates rooms for the night. Tomorrow would be the next day of initiation. |
