FORM:
Character Name: Scott Jax Alexander
Nickname: Scott
Age: 17
Faction: Dauntless
Transfer?: No
Divergent?: No
Aptitude test: Chances are I am going to be Dauntless, I was born that way, but nevertheless, I am on the train, on the way to taking the Aptitude test. I'm nervous, despite knowing what will most likely happen. I don't know what might happen. Will it hurt? I don't know. No one talks about it back home. Then I see out of my peripheral vision, someone jump off the train. It looks like we are here now.
I take a step or two back and then sprint off of the train and I leap onto the grass. I roll on the fresh grass for a few seconds, then I arrive back on my feet. Then we sprint to our line for the Test. I'm excited. I wait on line with adrenaline pumping through my veins. Everyone looks excited for the test, but we all know that each one of us is really nervous.
When it's my turn to take the test, I am greeted by a Abnegation lady. She makes me lay down. I am handed a suspicious concoction. I am surprised, and I drink it nervously. Then I zone out and I enter a new world. I see two items in front of me, a knife and some cheese and I know exactly which one I need to pick. The knife. I grab swiftly then I see a wolf. I start dodging the wolf's swipes, and getting in quick stabs until it collapses almost on top of me. But I instead sidestep it. That was easy. I shake out of the chair. I already know what the lady says before the words leave her lips, "Dauntless."
Choosing Ceremony: I know what I am going to pick, I am ready, I just want to get this over with, so I can begin initiation. My group of friends and I begin the train trip to the ceremony. For some reason, there is a unique aura around. It's not something that I can describe, but I think it's not good. Someone in here is not going to be Dauntless after the ceremonies. Luckily it's not me.
Finally, we arrive and we jump out as always and we sprint afterwards, same as usual. Everyone chants, and when we make it there, the presentation is just about to begin. We jump over seats to get to higher up rows, and when we are all seated it begins. A lady walks up and gives a speech. Blah, Blah, Blah. Let's get this started already.
It's about halfway into the ceremony that I realize that I am going to be almost the last person to go. But you know what they say, 'save the best for last.' I fall asleep. Then someone jabs me in the side. They apparently called my name. I bolt upwards, and everyone refrains from bursting out laughing, because I probably look like an idiot right about now. When I am up on the stage, I pick up the knife and slice my hand open. It stings, but I feels good. Because that's what Dauntless feels like. My blood drops into the Dauntless jar, and an uproar comes from behind me as I join my friends.
Appearance: Scott has blonde hair that is flipped to the side, and is of medium length. He has evergreen eyes that resemble a forest. He has lots of physical strength, because he grew up Dauntless. Scott has scars on his back from jumping off of trains too many times. He has a tattoo of a penguin on the back of his right shoulder.
Personality: Scott is pretty typical for someone who is Dauntless-born. He is cocky, and he as all the reason to be so. He's physically strong. He makes fun out of everything, and could honestly care less about everything. But he knows the importance of the initiates program.
However, he does have another side. One he doesn't even know he has. A loving one. He can protect those he loves, and does. This is mainly why he remained Dauntless. He didn't want to leave. He was born strong, and he wants to stay that way. So that he can become a member of Leadership to protect those he loves.
History: When Scott was born he was born Dauntless. His family consisted of his father, who protects other factions from fighting, his mother who is a member of leadership, and his sister, who got knocked out of trials in the final stage by one rank, and is now factionless. He misses her and he hopes to get her back. But he knows he can't. He will fight his way through the government if he has to, but it's pointless and he knows it.
Scott lived a typical life as a Dauntless faction child. He trained for many years, and did crazy jumps and stuff like everyone else did. However, his story is slightly different. Four years ago, his sister tried out for Dauntless, he cheered her on and gave her any advice he could, but she failed the final test. He got to say goodbye, but what he knows is that his sister is Divergent. No one else knows about this, except for his mother.
