Saving Love

"I transferred to Abnegation two years ago from Erudite." Says Florence. "Though this may sound rude, I wish I had decided otherwise. I would've loved the Dauntless thrill or all of the intelligence of the Erudite." She then lowers her voice. "I don't know what to say. The Abnegation find it too selfish to fight. I'd rather be elsewhere. Maybe back with Erudite or a factionless. Factionless most likely. Some say it's worse than death, but with the way you've turned out, it can't be too bad." She smiles. Then she makes her own daring statement in Abnegation terms. She undoes the neat bun she has her hair in on top of her head and lets her beautiful chocolate brown hair drop to her shoulders. Most Abnegation had blonde hair, but she was a transfer. She smiles and looks at Oceana. "What do you think I should do?"

"Rosa kind of shared that with everyone the other day." Florence responds.

An announcement comes over the Amity intercom.

"Everyone report to the meeting area for the funeral and services of Rosa Greenwind." Says a kind voice.

Florence and Kasey are shocked and it can be seen on their faces.

They head to the meeting area and there is an open casket sitting in the center of the area. There are depressed and saddened looks on many of their faces when they see Rosa's dead, naked body in the casket. The neck wound is still visible because the Amity don't believe in disturbing the peace of those who have passed. Harold is sobbing by her side.

Carlo is sitting with his family, crying on his mother's shoulder. His sister and father are sitting quietly.

Carlo nods. He wipes tears from his face and goes over to Oceana.

He was more upset than ever. He was losing everyone. His father and sister figured it out almost immediately, and then Oceana figured it out as well. Carlo tries to hold back his tears and runs off in the direction of the rooms the Dauntless initiates were staying in. When he gets there, he looks around to see if any of them have stored any type of weapon anywhere. If they did, he was planning on something quite big. He was headed back to Dauntless and he was headed to the chasm. He wanted to go like Rax did if he was going to be unloved. His life was ruined and no one could help that.

There is a knock at the door. It's Rowena who enters the room. "Oshi, we have to get out of here. Carlo said he was headed to the Chasm. If he doesn't pitch himself off the chasm, the traitors that took over there will kill him anyways. His family is falling apart around him and you're the only one he has left." Rowena says.

"Oceana Samantha Johnson. Listen to me. You will walk today and you will save Carlo. Forgive him if it takes years. Just forgive him. He still loves you and he did it to protect you and himself. She was trying to r*** him for all she was worth! She wanted you gone! Please, just come with me." Rowena begs.
