Aptitude test: Zach wakes up from the aptitude test having just told the man on the bus that he knew the man he was looking for. He had been thanked for saving him. Zach was happy when the Abnegation woman told him his result of Candor after his test. He always knew he'd be Candor because he was honest with everyone. Even if it wasn't something the person wanted to hear, he would tell them anyways.

On his way home, he is deep in thought about the choosing tomorrow. When he arrives home, he is told to help tidy the house so that he learns responsibility if he is to choose another faction. He honestly wanted to tell his family about his Aptitude test results, but he isn't allowed to. He lies down in his bed and begins to think. Tomorrow he would be making the decision to either stay where he was, or go to a faction he didn't have the aptitude for.

Choosing Ceremony: As he is sitting and waiting for his name to be called, Zach looks around to his fellow Candor friends. He is one of the ones called up more towards the middle because of his last name. When he is at the bowls, he looks back and forth between Candor and Amity. He was pure Candor, but he didn't know whether or not he wanted to leave. Too many thoughts flooded his mind.

When he cut his hand with the knife, his hand hovered between the two bowls. Eventually, he allows a drop of blood to fall in to the Candor bowl. There was cheering from the Candor. They were glad to have him stay. He walks over to his home faction and sits back with his family.

As the Candor file out, they take the elevator back out of the building. They head to the Candor compound and he has to start setting up in the initiates rooms. Every day they will have to take a truth serum test. He has to spill his secrets in front of all of the Candor. It's not like he hasn't been doing that his whole life.

Appearance:

Personality: Zachary loves animals. He is very honest and loves to help people. When it comes down to it, he is willing to tell someone anything. Some people don't like the Candor because of this. He will occasionally tell a lie, which gets him in trouble because he always gets found out.

Every time he tells a lie, he has to take a truth serum test. Luckily for him, that doesn't happen too often any more. He also loves his family. Willing to do anything for them, he always tells them the truth. He probably would've had the aptitude for Amity had he shown it on the test.

History: Zach is Candor born and raised. He lives with his mother, father and four older brothers. His only sister transferred to Amity a few years back. When he was four, he came down with an illness that nearly killed him, but he pulled through with the help of Doctors and medicine. He's had concussions in the past, but mostly for stupid reasons like falling off his bed that's already low to the ground. Zach is often seen in a Doctor's office.

He experiments sometimes. One time, he was testing out traps out of boredom, and got caught in his own trap. He's often made fun of by the people who heard about this, like his brothers. When he tries new things, they often backfire so he can be very reserved. He's broken many bones when trying to be adventurous, which is why he couldn't be Dauntless.
