Aptitude test: Jess woke up in a simulation, unaware as to being in one. She was sitting on a bus, feeling it jostle from side to side after having experienced the dog and the cheese thing.

A man, covered in scars, was reading the newspaper. On the front page was an image of a man and the title "murderer" on it. The picture reminded her of someone.

"Do you know this man?" The scarred man asked, tapping the picture.

"Yes sir, I do. May I ask why?"

"You just saved me." The man looked up from his newspaper revealing an equally scarred face. The simulation ended, crashing her back into reality.

"Candor," the Abnegation woman said plainly.

Choosing Ceremony: Jess sat with her family of five. Two twin brothers, both ten, were excited and hitting each other, much to their parents' disapproval. Jess had gone over the plan with her father the night before.

Her name was called, and she stood up and walked to the bowls. Coals, stone, glass, water, and soil. She cut her hand open and didn't hesitate for a second to choose Dauntless.

Her blood sizzled, and a cheer began to rise from the Dauntless section. Her father gave her a nod as she sat down, a smile on her lips as the Dauntless greeted her.

Appearance: Jess has blonde hair and blue eyes. She's rather small, standing at five feet. Skinny and underweight, she's easily the hardest to catch in a race.

No tattoos and no dyed hair, she prefers to keep nothing permanent on her skin or hair. She wears clothing that covers almost everything up, and always has her hair in a high ponytail.

Personality: Jess, despite having the aptitude for Candor, tends to tell constant lies, at least after she joined Dauntless. She's massively family oriented, and would do anything for them.

Jess also tends to love anything related to sports. Running, archery, shooting guns. She fits rather well with the Dauntless. She's an adrenaline junkie when she's not busy.

History: Growing up Candor, it was a surprise that her siblings and herself were raised to lie. Her dad was a Candor leader, and never told a lie. She originally had three siblings, making her family a family of six, but she was killed in a Dauntless shooting.

Her older sister's mother died, and her dad remarried and had her. She hated school and couldn't wait for it to end and to start working on becoming a Dauntless.
