Turning the corner, Carlo's gun is back in its holster. He looks at Oceana and Rowena. He is holding his hand over a new wound, this one on his chest on the right breast bone area. The shooting had stopped and Bianca was following close behind Carlo. Bianca's only injury was the one on her right arm from before. |

"Well," he coughs, " I was shot by someone that clearly wasn't under simulation. Some Erudite man." He coughs more, and this time a little blood comes up.

"Help!" Oceana yells into the building. "I need a doctor over here! Please!" Oceana looks back at him and tears are running down her face. "Everything's going to be okay. I'm not letting you leave my sight this time."

An Abnegation comes running over to Carlo. "A Stiff in war? That's a new one." Says Rowena
"Shut up. I'm tired of everyone calling us stiff. I don't care if I'm being selfish." Says the Abnegation.
"Well then." Says Rowena, putting her hands up in front of her as if to defend herself. The Abnegation woman goes over to Carlo and removes his shirt so she can tend to the wound.
"Not too deep. The bullet should be able to come out, but he's going to have plenty of scars from all these wounds." She says.

The Abnegation woman has a medical kit and begins to tend to Carlo's wound. She pulls the bullet out carefully and Carlo screams with pain. The woman places her hand over the wound on his chest and takes something else out of her medical kit. She was going to give him stitches. As she does this, he cringes with the pain. When the wound is stitched shut the woman says this will prevent it from getting infected.
"If you need me, I will be at Amity taking care of the injured. Ask for Jaqueline." Says the woman. She finishes cleaning Carlo's chest of the blood and packs up her medical kit.
"By the way, you shouldn't let him do anything but rest. It could be fatal." Jaqueline continues.
When Jaqueline leaves, Carlo coughs up a bit more blood and comes over to Oceana, grasping her hand tightly.

"Carlo, we got to go I the factionless. Only place that wouldn't take sides, and the only place you can get rest undisturbed." Oceana picks him up.

Carlo was worried about going to the factionless after what Oceana had told him. Though he knew seeing his friend that had failed initiation before may or may not be a good thing.

"You're heavy!" Oceana says, putting him back down. "Can you walk or something?" Oceana asks as she puts Carlo's arm around her to help support him.
As they walk towards the Factionless section, Oceana puts on a black leather jacket and ties her hair into a messy bun. "The Factionless aren't as bad as you might think. They formed a friendly, close knit society. They're unwelcome to people who first join and anyone in a faction besides Abnegation just walking by. I reccomend putting some mud or dirt on your shirt and pants."

Carlo nods. He puts some mud and dirt on his clothes. He hated wearing Erudite clothes. At the moment he just wanted to be back with his family in Amity or even with his sister in Abnegation. He looked deep in thought.
