Aptitude test: I open my eyes. I had just told the truth to the random guy on the train. The person giving me my test looks confused and she should be.
"What did you just do?" She asks. "You got 2 Factions. Candor and Abnegation."
I knew that would happen. I have known I was divergent my whole life but, I am not going to explain it to her if I do I am dead. I give her a confused look and walk out. Hoping no one will notice my test results.
Choosing Ceremony: I have black circles around my eyes like Carrie one of my triplet. Carrie is also divergent and we have been quietly think of our chose but Christina the other triplet has not. She is not divergent and only thinks it is a myth. Our parents did not tell they were real.
I watch as Christina goes before me. She has a nerves smile on her face but you can still tell that she knows what she is doing. She takes the knife to cut her hand and places it above the boll for Abnegation. Carrie and I look at each other shocked. We did not think she would go to Abnegation she didn't act nice enough but you can't in Dauntless.
I am the next called up. I walk up with the same half smile as my sister but I have more fear than she did. I look at 3 bolls. The one that says Candor, the one that says Abnegation and the one that says Dauntless. I know that it will be risky choosing Dauntless. Not only was it not one of the factions I would fit in but the whole initiation is a divergent nightmare but being that my aptitude test came back with 2 results I need my parents protection. I cut my can and watch as the blood drips down my palm into the Dauntless boll.
I return to the Dauntless seats and watch as Carrie walks up. She has the same look I had. A half smile with nerves eyes. When she gets up there she cuts her hand and places it over the Dauntless boll. A smile crosses my face that I will have one of my sisters with me. Carrie walks over and we sit together and the choosing ceremony finishes.
Appearance: Cassie is pretty. Her long red hair reaches half way down her back. Her green eyes and a smile glued to her face.
Even though she is pretty she stays modest. The Abnegation showing on her. She always wears yoga pants and I cami. It works out for her in Dauntless to give her more room to move when she fights or jumps off trains.
She also almost always has her hair back in a pony tail to keep it out of her eyes.
Personality: Cassie is very kind and will always lend a helping hand but if you want to start drama take it some where else. She will not stand for it and will likely give you a bloody nose.
She also try's not to lie. She agrees with the little lies like "that shirt looks wonderful on you." But not the bigger lies.
She is also very smart but does not like to admit it. The only reason Erudite did not show up on her test was because Candor and Abnegation stand out the most.
History: Cassie is a triplet in a family of 3 generations of divergent and 5 generations of Dauntless. The only person in 5 generations of Dauntless that transferred is Christina.
Her parents knew that Cassie and Carrie are divergent sense they were 5. The family always checks it to try to train there kids how to do simulations without being noticed. Being in dauntless helped. They never told Christina to keep her safe and out of the family problem as much as possible.
Cassie also has a sister that is 3 years older than her that transferred to Erudite but did not make it and became factionless. She wasn't divergent either.
