Aptitude test:
"Florence, right?" Asks the Abnegation woman that would be performing my Aptitude test. "I'm Pauline. I will be taking care of your aptitude test today." The woman says. I nod and she hands me a vile of clear liquid. Drinking it, I go into the simulation. When I look in front of me, there is a knife and some cheese. I am told to choose, and decide to take the cheese, even if it doesn't seem like the most selfless thing to do.
I then hear a dog growling behind me. I turn around quickly and begin to back up, afraid. I offer it the cheese, which it takes. I am then immediately go in to another simulation.
There is a young boy being bullied. Running over, I help the boy up after he was knocked down. I wasn't going to say anything to the person bullying him, I decided to just help the boy. He was factionless and he looked hungry. I helped him over to the sidewalk and made sure he was alright. Then I awaken from the simulation.
"Abnegation. Congratulations." Pauline says to me. I nod and walk out of the room.
Choosing Ceremony:
As I waited to be called up for the choosing ceremony, I sat with my friends and family. My parents were there, along with my little sister, Emma. A few other people are called up before me. They aren't any people that I know. When I head up there, I allow the knife to cut my hand. My hand hovers over the bowls.
I'm not sure whether I want to stay in Erudite or go to Abnegation. I make my decision. A drop of blood drops in to the Abnegation bowl. My old friends from my old faction shout to me. "Stiff!" They say. "Traitor!" This frustrates me, but I can't show it. I'm Abnegation now. I will hide any emotions that seem selfish.
One of my only friends who doesn't say anything about me transferring is Rowena. She transferred herself, a few years back. She used to be Candor but now she is Erudite. When I head over to the other Abnegation, one of them gets up to give me their seat. Sitting down, I look up front to see the other people choose their factions.
Appearance: Florence looks a little small for her age. She is only about 5'1". Her eyes and hair are both a chocolate brown. Her face is lightly freckled. She looks great in almost any type of clothes or color, especially her new Abnegation gray.
Personality: Abnegation was definitely the correct choice for her. Her old faction has also left her with quite a bit of intelligence. Selflessness is one of her main traits that definitely shows through. Always willing to help people, it was easy for her to do the community service needed to get in to Abnegation. Helping people is something she enjoys.
Though, Florence can be somewhat of a rebel. She will sneak a peek in the mirror once in a while. Also, she likes to ask questions because she is still curious about things, though she is good at hiding most of these traits that don't represent Abnegation. She is a great friend to everyone and gets a little upset inside when people call her 'stiff'.
History: Living in Erudite before she transferred was rather difficult for her. She didn't like school very much and she hated to research, despite the fact she was good at it. Her family is pure Erudite, except maybe her sister. Her younger sister is planning on transferring to Dauntless when she's older. The parents of Florence and her younger sister Emma, are both from different factions.
Her father was born in Amity and transferred to Erudite, where as her mother was born in Candor and transferred to Erudite. They were sad, yet proud for Florence when she made her decision to be Abnegation at the Choosing Ceremony. When she was younger, (Not by much), she met Rowena. Rowena was a transfer from Candor a few years before Florence transferred to Abnegation. They were friends before this. Though, after Florence switched, Rowena had shut her out of her life.
