"Oh, is it?" Carlo says, mocking someone for the first time he can remember. He readies himself and Jake says to begin. He immediately swings and aims a punch at Oceana's face. "Scared now?" He questions.

Oceana ducks and does a leg sweep, hitting his legs (OOC: you can say if he jumped it or fell. He would most likely fall, but he can still jump it.). "An Amity versus an Erudite? Especially this Erudite. I think it would be easy."

Falling to the ground, he then gets back up, and delivers a punch towards her stomach. He may not be the fastest, but he does have brute force. He puts up his guard after the punch. |

Ignoring her lack of breath from the punch, she kicks him in his vunerable man parts (OOC: from now on, I say "punched" or "kicked" just assume that you are able to block still.).

"You can't change who you are." She grabs his elbow and twists his arm around, as though to break it. "In a real fight I would break you arm, crash my foot into her knee, forcing you to the ground, then kicking you in the face." She let's go of him and walks out of the ring.

Moving out of the way from the kick, Carlo swipes the knife at Oceana's chest, attempting to cut a spot that would hurt, her left breast. He then backs up immediately. He's ready to fight back. The instructor doesn't try to break it up, and decides he might as well count it as their match. |

Wincing when cut, she aims for his knee again, misses, and the second she missed goes for his arm, bringing her elbow down onto the area just above the wrist.

He drops the knife, but immediately kicks it out of Oceana's reach. Then, he lunges towards her, using his leg to sweep hers out from under her. |

Crashing to the floor, she quickly rolls over away from him and reaches for the knife, too far away to reach. Cussing under her breath, she starts to get up.
