Jake, as usual, woke everyone up in the usual manner. "Fear landscape's today, transfers!" Everyone but Carlo and Oceana are surprised at that.
Jake led everyone to where they would have their fear landscape and explained how it worked. He showed them the room, which they would of seen before their fear landscape if it hadn't been moved up by a day.
Everyone sat down in a line, Oceana right behind Carlo. "Good luck!" She said before he was called up.

Carlo went in first and he was extremely nervous. He had no idea how many fears would be in his fear landscape, and they were able to see all of it. Rowena Queen lead him into the room and left. When they had him start the simulation, he took a deep breath and let everything form around him.
The desert again. That's where he was. The scorpions would be coming soon. As he stood there, he had to remain calm. The scorpions came over to him and once again, like he had before, he tried to run. Tripping, he fell and the scorpions were climbing all over him. He yelps as one of the scorpions stung him. He was about to cry out again as more gathered near him, but he knew it was just a simulation. He had to calm down. He allowed his body to relax, and the scorpions went away.
When he stood up, he was in his next fear. He was by his dying brother's bedside. Eagle was coughing up blood and Carlo began to cry silently. He rested his head on Eagle's chest once again until he no longer heard a heartbeat or breathing. Another tear slipped down his face and the second part ended.
The third fear began. He was with Oceana. They were alone. He brought his mouth to hers and kissed her, but she pushed him away. "Get away from me!" She yells at him. He backs up in to a corner and Oceana is at him with a knife. "Never come near me again!" She orders him.
"I'm sorry!" He apologizes. He slides his back down the wall until he is seated on the floor and he cries, until he is in his next fear.
It was Rosa. His fourth fear. She came over to him and pulled him towards her. She reached her hand up his shirt and ran her fingers down his spine. She began to lift his shirt up and he pulled it back down. Rosa took off her own shirt and stood there in her bra. She came closer to Carlo and pushed him on to the bed. "No! Get away! Rosa, I don't like you!" He shouts at her. That was his fear. Basically, Rosa s******* assaulting him.
Fear number five appeared. He was surrounded by his family and friends from his old faction. "Why would you switch to Dauntless, and leave us? You could've at least stayed with your sister in Abnegation if you didn't want to be Amity!" His father yells at him.
"Shut up! I make my own decisions now!" He yells back. He runs over to his father and attacks him for the insult. Then, fear number five is over.
Fear number six was next. Guilt was what it was. He had feelings of so many different things that he had done. The guilt was literally speaking to him.
"You're the reason we're dead." Rax and Eagle said in unison to him.
"I wouldn't be factionless if you had told me not to choose Dauntless." Says his old friend.
"You shut me out, just because I chose Abnegation." Says his sister.
He closes his eyes tightly and ignores it.
Now was fear number seven. His final fear. He was restrained on a metal table. He was surrounded by the Erudite. There was one holding a gun to his forehead and another Erudite is holding a knife to his throat.
"You're Divergent. Much too dangerous. You can't be here anymore. We have to get rid of you." Said one of the Erudite standing there. It was Rowena.
"Leave me alone! I'm not dangerous! I'm not going to hurt anyone and I know you don't have the guts to hurt me!" Carlo says to them. Then, the landscape was over with.
When he awoke from the fear landscape, Rowena was watching him very intently. He walked over to Oceana and sat next to her, shaking.

Oceana was called up, and Rowenna led her through the same stuff that she did for Carlo. Oceana tried to ignore anything her old friend said, it all going in one ear and our the other.
Oceana awoke in her fear landscape, fully aware of the fact she was in the fear landscape, as everyone else would be in her situation. Part of the fear landscape was to see how you would end the fear, after all.
Her first fear: spiders. She always hated the little guys, crawling all over her. Just got the shivers thinking about them.
It began with only one spider, which she stomped on in a second. Then it was like a swarm, engulfing her.
((OOC: since I'm on mobile, all caps LIKE THIS means it's thoughts but only for this post!))
RELAX, OCEANA. RELAX.
She took a deep breath, and in a second she felt wind blowing her hair up, over her head.
Second fear: falling.
She started to panic. She had a deathly fear of falling, for reasons she didn't know and didn't care why.
Closing her eyes for a second, she opened them and dived down, increasing her fall time. Seconds before she hit the ground, she magically appeared in the school.
Third fear: being made fun of. Everyone started laughing at her, the sound filling her ears. Insults flew her way from those who would never even dare think a mean thought. Most involved her being factionless born.
Huddling down, Oceana covered her ears and pressed down on them so hard, she could hear her heartbeat. She focused on that, and before she knew it, she moved onto fears four and five.
It was the scene with her mother and little ten year old her. She watched it this time, though, like a bystander. She watched little Oceana run from her mother like it was a game, running up to the newly factionless man, and saw him cock the gun back, aiming it at her mother.
Older Oceana, Dauntless Oceana, sprinted full force in the direction of the man. Tackling him the second before he shot, the bullet flew high up into the air. She snatched the gun out of his hands and pointed it at him, cocking it back and shooting.
Fear four: watching her mother die.
Fear five: guns.
Moving onto the next fear, she dropped the gun and watching it dissipate into dreamy smoke. She was in a blank room with no windows and no doors.
Just a chair and a needle.
"I promise you, it won't hurt," a scientist lady said, grabbing her shoulder none too nicely. Oceana tried to fight her way out of her grasp, but couldn't, and soon was tied down to the chair.
They begin to take the needle near her throat, just as Oceana gets an idea. She imagines her hands slipping through the ties holding her arm down, and they go through. She grabs the needle and plunges it into the scientists, and a door appears on the other side.
Fear six: Erudite death serum.
She wills herself out of the binds and runs through the door.
It was the end of the fear landscape, the door her escape. She looks at her time TWENTY MINUTES? I DID GOOD!
Carlo runs in and hugs her, kissing her, and she kissed him back. Smiling at him, she held him close. "We made it! We made it through initiation!"
His smile disappeared as someone walked up behind her. She looked at the stranger, who shook his head.
"You failed, Oceana. You weren't Dauntless enough."
Oceana looked at Carlo, who's face was one of emotion pain.
"You're factionless again."
Fear seven: breaking someone's heart.
Fear eight: being factionless again.
She woke up from her fear landscape, and looked around. "Am I still in there?" She asked the person helping her get out of the room, who laughed sweetly and replied no.
Her time was closer to the end of thirty minutes.

After the fear landscape, Carlo hugged Oceana. When he pulled away, he glared at Rowena. There was something suspicious about her.
Later that day, they all went to the Cafeteria to hear the final ranks and who made it past initiation. The ranks showed up on a screen when Jake pressed a button.

Those below the line were cut. There were cries from those who didn't pass initiation. They would have to live factionless. As for those who passed, some people cheered and others were congratulated. That's when Carlo looked at Oceana. They both made it. He was crying out of joy. He hugged her. They were both officially Dauntless.
Then he began to wonder something. How did Rosa get first slot? Why was Rowena watching the fear landscapes? Most importantly, what was Rowena up to?

Oceana, in the hug, kissed Carlo. "Welcome to Dauntless!" She laughed for kissing him again.
Oceana thought that Rowenna was only there because Rax had died, and that Rosa got top slot because of bribing Rax with something more precious than money. She thought nothing of it.

This was one of the best moments of Carlo's life. He pressed his mouth to Oceana's again and kissed her. He completely forgot about Rowena and Rosa, along with everything bad that had happened. He held Oceana tightly and didn't want to let her go. When they finally pulled apart, Carlo realized Rowena was waiting to speak to them.

Oceana, unwillingly, let go of Carlo to listen to what Rowenna had to say. She crossed her arms, and gestured for Rowenna to speak.

"Just thought I'd let you two know a few things. Oceana, I'm pretty sure you remember me. We were friends not too long ago. I'm sorry if I shut you out. As for Carlo, you've got to watch out for Rosa. She's pretty mad at you for getting Rax killed." Rowena says.
Carlo felt angry with Rowena. He didn't mean to get Rax killed. To prevent himself from yelling at Rowena, he reached for Oceana's hand and laced his fingers between hers.

"Rowenna, he didn't kill Rax. Rax decided on his own free will to let go. Rax decided on his own free will to stab Car here. It wasn't his fault that he got mad and decided to take it out on him!" Oceana said, defending Carlo.

Rowena shrugged and walked away. Carlo looked back at Oceana and smiled. "Want to go for a walk? I also heard we each get to choose places to stay now. I'm going to kind of miss the initiates rooms a little bit though. He says.

Carlo runs with Oceana, smiling as they do. He slows down when they reach the area with the apartments. There are some that are vacant and he speaks up. "We should start looking." He says.

They continue walking and come across another apartment. Carlo knocks on the door.
